The Eagle County Historical Society is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization whose mission is to educate the public about Eagle County’s rich history. The Society operates a museum in Eagle (open from mid-May to mid-September), produces local history books, and hosts special events, including guest speakers and cemetery tours. An extensive archive collection can be accessed on-line via our website, eaglecountyhistoricalsociety.com. Physical archives are located at the Eagle Public Library.
